You lucky lot are going to be testers for Oakwell Farm. The campsite is getting there, but needs going over with a fine tooth comb.

Oakwell Farm is a green, eco friendly campsite. We are off grid, meaning that electricity isn't the easiest to come by and the toilet flush is wood shavings. What we do have is a lot of open sky, weird and wonderful wildlife, and time to relax.

On site you will meet our flock of chickens, the herd of horses, and an array of wildlife - all of them mostly just do their own thing. Including poop. There will be animal poop of various kinds. Oh, and the cockerels like to sing.

Facilities include a composting toilet, gas heated shower, wash up area, and fire pit(s). Drinking water is available on site. There may be some availability for phone charging, but we'll have to take it in turns. There is no chemical toilet disposal on site.

Pitches come in a few sizes - small (1-4 berth tent), medium (4-8 berth tent), and small campers/caravans.

Well behaved dogs are welcome, although due to the abundance of furry and feathered friends and current lack of safely enclosed space, I'm going to kindly request that dogs are on leads or tethered where possible. There are some good long walks nearby and I'm happy to map these out for everyone! We have dog poo disposal but ask that you please use biodegradable bags.
